Style is partly appearance and partly capacity. We will size the system to your roof area and local rainfall rather than defaulting to whatever is on the truck:

Seamless K-style — the practical standard, with high capacity and a crown-moulding profile that suits most homes
Half-round — a traditional profile suited to historic and period architecture, and easier to keep clean

Seamless Gutter FAQ

What are the main benefits of seamless K-style gutters?

No joints along the run means far fewer places to leak, separate, or trap debris. K-style also carries more water than a half-round of the same nominal size, which matters during the heavy downpours this region gets.

What makes half-round gutters special?

The profile suits historic and period architecture where a K-style crown moulding profile would look wrong. The smooth interior also sheds debris more readily, so they tend to clog less.

Are copper gutters worth the investment?

If you intend to stay in the home and the gutter is visible as part of the architecture, often yes. Copper substantially outlasts aluminum and develops a patina many homeowners want. It is a significant premium, and we will price both so you can compare honestly.

How often should gutters be cleaned?

Twice a year for most homes, and more often under heavy tree cover. If cleaning is impractical, gutter guards are usually the better long-term answer.

Can you install gutters without replacing my roof?

Yes. Gutters are a standalone job. That said, if the roof edge, drip edge, or fascia is already deteriorated we will point it out, because a new gutter hung on rotten fascia will not stay up.

Do you install gutter guards?

Yes, and we will tell you honestly whether your tree cover justifies them. They are worth it under heavy leaf load and often unnecessary on an open lot.
